Ticket Delivery

Tickets purchased via the Theatre’s website will be dispatched by email to the customer directly. Customers can request a postal service by contacting the Theatre box office directly. Postal orders are dispatched second class, Monday to Friday.

Concessions, Discounts & Offers

We provide group, concession, and membership discounts on selected productions and performances. These discounts must be requested at purchase, are subject to availability, and apply only to specific performances.

Standby Rates

A stand-by rate for seniors, students, and unwaged individuals is offered for select performances. This discounted rate is accessible from 6pm on the show's scheduled evening, and eligible attendees must provide proof of qualification.

Booking Fees

A per-ticket booking fee of £2.50 will apply to all bookings made via the website, or over the telephone. There is no booking fee charge for a group booking of 10+ tickets, for Gold Friends of the Theatre, or in-person payments.

Payment

We accept the following debit/credit cards: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch/Maestro or Delta. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Grand Opera House Theatre Ltd’.

Refunds

Refunds are only available for cancelled performances, where customers will receive a refund of the face value of the tickets and any associated booking fees paid. Refunds are not available in any other circumstance.

Exchanges

Customers can exchange their tickets for another performance of the same production, subject to availability and on condition that the request is made at least 48 hours before the performance.

Tickets for Babies

Children under 18 months require a ‘Babes in Arms’ ticket to sit on a parent or guardian’s knee; all children over 18 months must have a seat purchased for them.
