From the team that brought you The Pirates of Penzance in 2022, the Grand Opera House Summer Youth Production returns in July 2023 with Lionel Bart’s Tony and Olivier Award-winning family musical Oliver!

Over 100 young people will have the opportunity to be part of Northern Ireland’s biggest musical theatre event, and be part of a guaranteed summer to remember.

Auditions for Oliver! have now taken place and successful applicants will be notified in due course.

 

Rehearsal & Performance Dates:

  • The project will run from Saturday 8 to Saturday 22 July 2023 inclusive with performances on Thursday 20 July at 7pm; and Friday 21 & Saturday 22 July at 2pm & 7pm both days.
  • Cast members must be available to attend every day.
  • Additional rehearsals will also take place from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 June 2023 for principals only.

Cost

The cost to participate is £250 per person.

50% of the fee is required as a non-refundable deposit after the auditions are completed with the remaining balance paid no later than Thursday 25 May 2023.

 

Youth Tech Crew

During the Summer Youth Production, there is an opportunity for young people aged 16 to 18 years old to be a member of the Youth Tech Crew and work alongside the Grand Opera House technical team. If you would like to be part of this team, please download and complete the Youth Tech Crew Registration form here.

The closing date for applications for the Youth Tech Crew is Friday 7 April 2023
