When Joe Gillis, a struggling young screenwriter, turns up by mistake one evening, the eccentric Norma sees him as an opportunity to make her long-awaited comeback and cash-strapped Joe is easily seduced by Norma and her luxurious lifestyle. This chance meeting marks the beginning of their journey into glamour and tragedy.

Based on the Billy Wilder film of the same title, the Paramount Pictures film is famously rated as one of the greatest films ever made. The musical version, with its heart-stopping music, will give the immense talents of the Theatre’s Summer Youth Production’s young stars the perfect platform on which to shine and captivate audiences.
