Birmingham Royal Ballet: Peter and the Wolf, a family adventure

Especially for families and younger audiences, Birmingham Royal Ballet will present a programme which includes a danced performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, and an orchestral performance of Tubby the Tuba – introduced and narrated by Birmingham Royal Ballet’s own storyteller.

The performance will also feature the famous and well-loved pas de deux from The Nutcracker.

An Evening of Music and Dance
Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November at 7.30pm

In addition to the special matinee programme for family audiences, Birmingham Royal Ballet’s evening showcases will feature its world-class orchestra, the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, and a programme of classical pas de deux from The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, as well as orchestral highlights such as Vaughan Williams’s The Lark Ascending and Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre.
