Priority Booking Period:

As a Friend of the theatre, you can purchase the best seats in the house two weeks before they go on sale to the general public.

Two Tickets for the Price of One:

A range of discounts are available for Friends of the Grand Opera House, including two tickets for the price of one on selected performances, making it possible to cover the cost of your membership on a single visit to the theatre.

Ticket Discounts and Special Offers:

Friends of the Theatre will also receive 10% discount on selected ticket prices, plus last minute special offers.

Food and Drink:

A 10% discount on purchases in Luciano's Cafe Bar, The Hippodrome Restaurant and the Theatre Bars is available exclusively to Friends of the Grand Opera House.

We organise a number of special events throughout the year for Friends of the Grand Opera House, including behind-the-scenes tours, visits to other theatres, day trips across Northern Ireland and our annual Friends Gala Dinner.

Young Friends of the Grand Opera House

Aged 8 - 18? Become a Young Friend of the Grand Opera House and discover the fascinating world behind the scenes at Northern Ireland's premiere theatre.

Visit parts of the theatre that other visitors do not see, operate light and sound equipment, see a set being built and learn about special effects!

Take part in a Performance Masterclass, meet the young cast of our shows, or join the Young People's Forum to discuss what you would like to see in the Theatre.

With events, special offers, summer projects and much more, Young Friends is a great way to meet new people and learn more about a career in the arts!
