Comedy
The Old Vic and West-End smash hit, Noises Off, comes to the Grand Opera House Belfast following its triumphant and critically acclaimed sell out run in London.
Hailed as one of the greatest British comedies ever written, Michael Frayn’s multi award-winning backstage farce serves up a riotous double bill - a play within a play.
Hurtling along at breakneck speed it follows the backstage antics of a touring theatre company as they stumble their way through rehearsals, to a shambolic first night in Weston-super-Mare, and a final disastrous performance in Stockton-on-Tees.
Lindsay Posner directs Neil Pearson (Monroe, Between the Lines, Drop the Dead Donkey, and Bridget Jones’ Diary), Maureen Beattie (Lewis, The Bill, Taggart, Casualty), David Bark-Jones, Simon Bubb, Danielle Flett, Geoffrey Freshwater, Chris Larkin, Thomasin Rand and Sasha Waddell.
The Grand Opera House hosts a number of signed, audio described and captioned performances. For further information, or if you require assistance booking tickets for an access performance, please contact Box Office on 028 9024 1919.
